Jonathan Zawada is a Sydney based mixed media artist who has produced work for clients such as Modular Records, The Presets, Ksubi, General Pants, Universal Music, and BMW. These commissions have included website design, illustration, fabric prints, animation, and book and magazine art direction.
“Graduated, since 2005, of ESAG-Penninghen in graphic design in Paris, I wanted to comfort my studies with true personal experiences. For two years, a few immersion trips in Asia and Middle-East gave me the opportunity to discover other realities.

Jonah Bokaer x Snarkitecture
A collaboration with choreographer Jonah Bokaer, Why Patterns is a performance originally commissioned by Dance Works Rotterdam. The visual design emerges from a single ping-pong ball that is introduced into a frame on stage, initiating a series of choreographed games. Unpredictable results trigger events that flood the stage with thousands of balls, which are manipulated by the movements of the dancers as the square frame is collapsed.
